It has unbeatable location for visiting a medieval castle. The staff are amazing as well as the host.

That was lovely hotel set in fairly quiet area, next to a beautiful castle as well as pierrefonds. We stayed in the suite, it was spotless and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The atmosphere created was family. The location was quiet, for example, a medieval castle was not too far from the property.

The rooms were absolutely brilliant and complete with a sofa. The hotel was in a central setting to many nice restaurants. It was so close to the main town centre. The bar was huge, and the food they serve is good.

Good food, had comfortable stay.

Spacious and spotless room, the bathroom was big. It was nice having television, tea and coffee making facilities.

Enjoyed every detail about our comfortable 3 nights stay here. The suite we stayed in was impeccably clean and gorgeous with very comfortable beds. The staff was amazing and took care of us. We walked everywhere, the location was stunning, to many nice restaurants.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast with homemade croissants, yogurt, and home-made bread in a picturesque location with views of the castle.

As bike riders, we loved the convenient location near the castle and lake. The charming rooms and garden were beautifully decorated, and the breakfast with homemade breads and fresh orange juice was exceptional.

We got really good value for our money at this charming hotel. The room was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view of the nearby castle. The location was perfect, being just a short walk away from the main square and the castle. The staff, especially Marie, our host, was cute and made us feel right at home.

The breakfast option could have been better by offering a wider variety of hot food.

The double room was cosy with a multi-channel television, a lounge, and a writing table. The location was great and super for exploring the pretty comfortable area, adjacent to many nice restaurants as well as the castle of Pierrefonds. Staying at the hotel was great, I would love to return.

Convenient location, not right in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Plus, it's close to a charming village and just a hop, skip, and jump away from France! 🏞️

We stayed at Il Etait Une Fois for 3 nights, and it was the perfect choice for our visit to the castle. The suite was spacious and charming, with a cozy sitting room and comfortable beds. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the location was excellent - walking distance to restaurants and the nearby forest. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!
